More Than Just BJJ Gear — BLITZFIGHT Is About the Community

More Than Just BJJ Gear — BLITZFIGHT Is About the Community

Many people know BLITZFIGHT through our BJJ Gis, rash guards, No-Gi gear and custom products.

But for us, making products has never been the whole story.

What we really want is to stay involved in the sport, stay connected with academies, coaches and athletes, and help more people become part of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through competitions, sponsorships and other activities.

Over the years, we have supported many different BJJ events, and we also regularly organise our own competitions.

Competition Is an Important Part of the BJJ Community

Of course, every competition has winners and losers.

But if we only focus on the results, we miss a lot of what makes these events important.

Athletes from different academies come together in one place. Coaches, competitors, referees and spectators all share the same space. People who may not normally have a chance to meet can connect through competition.

For someone who is new to BJJ, stepping onto the competition mat for the first time can be a very important experience.

For more experienced athletes, competition is also a way to test themselves, find weaknesses and continue improving.

That is why we have always felt that competition is not only about winning. It is also an important part of building the BJJ community and culture.

We Want to Be More Than Just a Brand

BLITZFIGHT has been making BJJ gear for many years.

Of course, we want to keep improving our Gis, rash guards, No-Gi shorts and other products. But if all we did was sell products, we would feel that something was missing.

A BJJ brand that wants to stay in this sport for the long term should also have a real connection with the sport itself.

That is why we have continued working with different academies, teams, coaches and athletes, while also staying involved in competitions and BJJ events.

Sometimes we are a sponsor.

Sometimes we provide custom gear and event products.

Sometimes we are directly involved in organising the competition.

For us, all of these things are part of the same idea:

to help more people get involved in BJJ, create more opportunities for academies to connect, and support the continued growth of the sport.

Gear Is Also Part of the Culture

A Gi, rash guard, medal or event shirt may look like just another product.

But for an athlete, it can also represent an experience.

A competition rash guard can remind someone of a particular event.

A medal can bring back the memory of standing on the podium for the first time.

An academy Gi can represent the team that person belongs to.

That is why, when we work on custom products, we increasingly see the product itself as only one part of the story.

What really matters are the people, the academies, the competitions and the experiences behind it.

Unrivaled Is Part of That Idea

We organise Unrivaled not simply to run another competition.

We want to give more athletes opportunities to compete, create more interaction between different academies, and help more people discover and become involved in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

We will continue to be part of the community through competitions, sponsorships, academy partnerships and custom BJJ gear.

BLITZFIGHT does not want to be just another brand selling BJJ equipment.

We want to stay involved in the sport for the long term, help build the community and culture around BJJ, and play our part in helping the sport continue to grow.
